FEVER

omggg... I am soooo sick. Not in a pervertic way lah. I mean sick, as in- SICK?!! I have a fever of 40.4 degrees C. But that's still not my record.(My highest was 41++) My head's aching, my eyelids are damn HEAVY, and I feel like vomiting.. Aargh. Started to feel uncomfortable on Thurs morning, when I was waiting for the SBS bus to take me to schl.. Saw mom at the busstop, but felt too weak (or was it lazy?) to go up and tell her.. During recess on that same day, I told Hui Juan my stomach was hurting quite badly. At night, after coming back from my CCA, I started to feel cold all of a sudden and hurriedly went to my bedroom to cover myself with the blanket. Mom came in and took my temperature; 40.2. About 15 minutes later, she took my temp. again: 40.1. She told me to get some rest and she'll take me to the doc's 2moro.
The next day, I didn't go to school.(DUH) Mom came back at around 3+ and took my temp. ; 40.4. OMG. She told me to get changed to go c the doc. The problem was, I was too weak to get changed. It took me 47mins to get changed... I felt nauseous/ wadever u spell it when I stood. My head hurt soooo much. I thought I was gonna die...
The doc told me that if there are any signs of red spots on my body, I've gotta go back and take a blood test to confirm whether it's dengue. AARGH, DENGUEEEEE. I'm too young to die!!! And i could remember what he said VERY well," If you are unlucky, it might be dengue." UNLUCKY, so those dengue patients are unlucky huh? Sighm better get some rest now. I've not bathed for 3 days! ...Oops, shouldn't have leaked that out.. eeek

My point of view on Airplanes

Have you guys heard on the news about the airplane incident where there was an estimate of 16 survivors out of the 116 passengers? I feel that I should voice my opinion based on this topic, as I feel that something is not working effectively. For those who have taken an airplane before, you all may have watched a short clip during the plane take-off. It teaches us all the safety measures when a warning siren is activated. For example, we have to crouch down, with our heads between our knees and put on the face mask provided etc. But one (like me) may wonder, are these really effective? Have passengers in danger used them before? For me, I have never seen or heard of passengers wear the life vests and face masks before. I have also never seen any instances where passengers get evacuated from the slide at the side of the plane. All these safety precautions/measures/whatever you may call them seem useless to me. But if someone has actually seen these in use in an emergency before, please feel free to tag at my tagboard.

mop

I just watched the March of the Penguins two days ago. It was a good show, as it shows how the parents sacrifice their life for their young. There were hilarious scenes, but there were also some frightening and sad scenes, which made you feel like sacrificing one tear for the tragic ending. But throughout the whole show was fantastic, and the show's ending (not the sad ending) was marvelous. The little chicks hatched were so cute and filled with curiosity. Well, I can't say more about the show, you have to watch it yourself! It is a true documentary show, and the penguins are not as clumsy as you might think.
